RippleBuds is launching a new set of earbuds
on Kickstarter on Mar 21, 2016. The earbuds will effectively block out outside noise, while allowing the users to clearly transmit their voice. It is achieved by placing a
microphone INSIDE of the user’s ear. The
core idea of this technology is based on an understanding of the structure of
the human body. As we noticed that voices come out of the “ear” as well as the
mouth when we speak, we placed a microphone in the “ear” to effectively block out all sound besides the voice at the
source so that only the speaker’s voice could be captured and delivered to the
other party.
This is a welcome departure from the
traditional headsets which tend to transmit background noise, thus making phone
